STEP 1: Complete the AHA HeartCode BLS Online Course

AdventHealth Employees:

Email cfd-s.ahtc-cfl@adventhealth.com using your AdventHealth email address to request access including: full name, OPID, Employee ID, and Department number. Please allow 24 - 48 hours to receive access.

To complete the AHA HeartCode BLS Online Course:

  • Register at http://www.elearning.heart.org and when prompted, complete and submit the registration form***Use your AdventHealth email as your User Email***
  • User MUST complete each module in the course
  • Must complete the online course evaluation
  • PRINT Certificate of completion – if all steps are not completed you will not be able to print certificate

Non-AdventHealth Employees:

  • Go to the American Heart Association website - www.elearning.heart.org
  • Go to Find a Course > Basic Life Support > HeartCode BLS Online > click Purchase ($34.00) > Add to Cart
  • Navigate to your Cart and complete the purchase
  • User MUST complete each module in the course
  • Must complete the online course evaluation
  • PRINT Certificate of completion – if all steps are not completed you will not be able to print certificate
