Basic Life Support

Basic life support is the foundation for assisting victims of cardiac arrest. Participants will learn the skills of high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for victims of all ages, both as a single rescuer and as a member of a multi-professional team. The course will include the recognition of cardiac arrest and stroke, early activation of the emergency response system, relief of choking for victims of all ages and skills to respond quickly and with confidence.
