Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course
The ENPC Course was developed to educate participants how to recognize the ill or injured child and identify subtle and significant changes in the child's condition. Course curriculum includes the integration of pediatric trauma and resuscitation didactic information with simulation stations to enhance psycho-motor skills. The goal is to increase the knowledge, skills and confidence of emergency nurses.

Description
The ENPC is a (1.5) day course designed to:
- Provide the learner with cognitive core-level pediatric knowledge
- Provide psychomotor skills needed to care for a pediatric patient in the emergency setting
Intended Audience
Emergency department nurses or any nurse who cares for pediatric patients.
Prerequisites
- Purchase the 5th edition ENPC provider manual (please note new edition released in 2019)
- Completion of all required modules by midnight prior to start of class date. Pre-course modules will take approximately 3-4 hours.
- Review all materials including ENPC provider manual prior to class as information will be reinforced through activities, games, and hands on skills that will require an understanding of all course materials.
- Class enrollment will be discontinued thirty (30) days prior to start of class to allow for adequate preparation for course.
